I haven't been in a "talkative" frame of mind of late.  It happens.  To celebrate how I feel presently and, also, to not get on my own case about it, I'll post some recent work and let that just be it for now :-)

It is pretty obvious I love dogs.  Dogs are furry packages of face and body expressions that can melt my heart, make me laugh and sometimes cry.  These qualities also make them a joy to draw <3

I like to sketch every day.  Sometimes these sketches are quick line drawings straight from my head.  My favorite subject is the dog :-)

 I had no idea that there is such a thing as a witches' door, but in any case, my word art isn't one of them.  It's just word play :-)

A habit

I can hear the birds singing beautifully outside my window.  It is very calm; the temperature is pleasantly cool at present.  So nice :-)

I've been turning to my brush pens for quick sketches lately.  Here's another one:

Three horses

While working in my art journal the other day, I was also trying to figure out the best time to go walkies with Remy (thunderstorms were in the forecast).  I know Remy loves getting out and sniffing everything, meeting Briggs - his dog buddy, and friendly humans; thinking about this made me realize how much I love walkies with him and because of him.  He is a poster boy for living life with joy and enthusiasm.  It's infectious!
