I do my best not to do any planning in advance as it defeats
the spirit of a Picasso dog drawing. but I suppose do I have a particular breed in mind, though it's difficult to tell, huh?
So after turning the page around and around this dog made his appearance ;-)
Meet the soaring "Picasso dog":
Yes, I've been painting flowers...again. A couple of days ago, Remy and I walked through a park in the early evening that somehow inspired this piece.
I used some FW Pearlescent acrylic inks; they added a nice sheen here and there. Have a look:
my first dance recital. I was eight years old. The night of the performance was so very, very exciting - the height of the stage, the lights, the energy and somewhere out there...the audience. It's an odd sensation - feeling the presence of so many people but not seeing anything past the footlights. But I loved it :-)
it's the weather. The feeling of Spring. Windows open, typing this whilst listening to the birds singing away. Sigh. So lovely.
Imaginary spring flowers:
I like working in my studio and occasionally glancing out the window at
the blowing snow – it’s enjoyable because I’m inside happily painting away and
the “weather” is outside.
