Word art while waiting

for intermittent layers of masking fluid to dry.  There is no rushing it - a heat tool just fries the fluid.  But these mini-intermissions are okay.  I have gotten into the habit of keeping my marker and paint pens at the ready... and I created some word art.

I had a couple of themes in mind - space and favorite words.

Space:

Acylic ink, metallic ink, pastel, gel pen

Favorite words, this is one:

Acrylic ink, metallic ink, pigment marker pen

And then out of nowhere, this phrase:

Metallic ink, pigment marker pen

And by then the latest layer of masking fluid was really, really dry :-)

Surprise...flowers :-)

Yes, I've been painting flowers...again. A couple of days ago, Remy and I walked through a park in the early evening that somehow inspired this piece.
I used some FW Pearlescent acrylic inks; they added a nice sheen here and there. Have a look:
Into blues and violets.
