MOOdle time

A MOOdle about about my dog, Remy, and I think most other dogs:

You can see the hope in their eyes <3

I think it is yet another appealing aspect of a dog's nature :-)

I tell myself...

Do not:

Mixed media
... because it doesn't help or make anything better.

Remember to:

Ink, Sharpie markers
... always.

Because:

Ink, Intense pencils

... deep down.

Keeps my head on straight :-)

Toys

These toys might be fun to investigate, especially if they arrived with no instructions :-)

Carved stamps

When I think of patterned repetition,  I think of die cuts and carved stamps.  I cannot make die cuts, but I can carve my own stamps :-)

I like to carve objects and words, but some of my favorite stamps come about randomly.

From yesterday's art journal entry:

Intentional and random stamps

I had to tell myself to "Stop" making stamps and complete the day's page or I would never get to the five (oy) paintings I have been working on.

I don't know much about cats.

Except for me, all the members of my family (of origin) are allergic to cats.  Understandably, there were never any of these critters in our house.  Dogs, parakeets, hamsters - all okay - but cats brought on the sneezing, tearing, watery eyes, and rashes for everyone but me.

Therefore, if I consider cats, I have to admit that because I was never around them, their behavior baffles me.

Meow.

This collage encapsulates the truth about my experience of cats; they are a complete mystery to me :-)
