A safe squirrel

...for Remy.  Thank goodness he isn't able to get hold of the live squirrels that visit the back yard; the two-squeaker, soft toy version will do instead!

I think this is for me...yeah!

Mom thinks I look so sweet when I do this...

The happy squirrel

Remy has a new squirrel toy, the one with sixteen (!) squeakers.

Modeled on a flying squirrel perhaps?

It's his second one; his first squirrel has one remaining working squeaker and alas, Remy performed Golden retriever surgery on its head and other parts. Sad to say, it's quite a mess. The following photo is not for the faint of heart:

Gruesome, huh.

But now Remy's happy and his new squirrel looks pretty happy, too, don't you think? :-)
