No walkies

at least not for awhile:

What a trouper; when Remy looks this sad it breaks my heart...

Remy injured his paw yesterday. I think he may have stepped on a small branch from a shrub that was hidden in the mounds of snow in the back yard. Whatever it was, it pierced his skin between his toes. Oy.

Today he appears to be in less pain but he continues to limp. I am doing my best to keep him off his feet to reduce the pressure on his wound.

If I can keep him from unnecessary walking around he ought to be feeling much better fairly soon -  and then he can go back to romping and running and (yay) we can go "walkies"!

where he curls his paw and rests it on his toes. And he does it a lot. See?

What a funny boy!

I was up and down the stairs a couple of times and whether his head was up (as in the photo) or hanging down over the edge of the stairs (yes, he was patiently waiting for his breakfast) he kept his paw curled.
He's has his ways...and so many of them just crack me up :-)

Bootie time!

Walkies - yay! Bootie - boo! Paw injury that still hasn't healed makes it a necessity. Remy forgets all about it though if there is something "yummy" (you don't want to know...) to sniff.

Something has captured Remy's attention :-)
